 Who are we?

Help Save Herndon is a group of citizens organized for the purpose of:

addressing and cooperatively troubleshooting community improvement and development issues

assisting all residents and the local government with ensuring that the town of Herndon, Virginia is a safe, secure, prosperous, and beneficial American community for all legal residents, legitimate businesses, and the American worker

We are not a formal PAC or non-profit or faith-based organization.  We keep it simple.  We are citizens from all cultural heritages, faiths, and socio-economic backgrounds, who (like you) care about our town.  We work to enhance the community living experience for everyone.  Our doors are open, so feel free to get to know us better.

Where Did We Come From?

During the summer of 2005, a handful of residents from Herndon and the surrounding communities got together to share and air their concerns regarding the development of our town.  This small band shared a common apprehension regarding the issue of day labor within the town. From their initial inquiries and research into the day labor situation, this group quickly learned there are many challenges involved when working with multi-faceted issues and local governments. Theyeasily saw that our town needed help to ensure the Town Council acted on behalf of all of its residents, instead of focusing on select small interest groups.

Today, Help Save Herndon is proud to have grown into a large and diverse assembly of neighbors who want to make certain that our local governing body stays properly focused.

What Are Our Goals?

Ensure no public funds are spent for a day labor site that supports the hiring of illegal immigrants

Ensure that all local government actions, laws, and ordinances assure the safety and security of all legal residents, and foster responsible community growth

Ensure equitable, legal, and ethical business and employment opportunities for all citizens

Continue to be the voice of reason and truth at all Town Council public meetings

Help Save Herndon is committed to ensuring  no public funds are used for illegal day laborer sites and to prevent local and state governments from sponsoring, advancing, and promoting the use of illegal alien labor.
